Meet the Author
My story....
In elementary school, I developed a passion for writing after reading the book, "The Boxcar Children". Thereafter, every free moment that I had was spent, writing short stories and poems. As I grew older, life seemed more important than my passion, as I began writing less.
In early adulthood, I began writing heavily again. Not knowing what I would do with any of my writing, I wrote greeting cards, poems, magazine articles and short stories. Then life happened again. I married a dear man and had two wonderful children.
In 2011, with two small children, at the height of my career, my company closed its doors. I was left without a job and unsure about what to do next. Then God reminded me of my passion. I began writing again and from this, four books were born. With the busyness of life happening once again, I put off publishing the books.
In 2023, as an empty nester, my oldest daughter, Rasia encouraged me to reignite my passion. (Thanks Rasia for believing in your mama)
In 2024, my first publication and your first read is, "When Brown Leaves Fall".
